What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, true in its entirety, and the bases for our faith.

We believe there is one God in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  

​

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, ascended to heaven, and is sitting on the right side of His Father.

 

We believe man was created in the image of God, fell into sin, and was separated from God.   

​

We believe Christ shed His blood dying on the cross to forgive us from our sins and give us everlasting life.  

​

We believe in baptism as the full immersion of water for those who have repented from their sins and believe in Christ as their Savior.  It is a testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ.  

​

We believe in the regular taking of Communion, the bread and the fruit of the vine, as an act of remembering that Christ died for us on the cross.  

​

We believe that believers should expect and seek for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives them utterance.  

​

We believe that every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by obeying God's Word, communicating with Him daily, and by yielding to the Holy Spirit.

​

We believe in the second coming of Christ, which includes the rapture of His believers, followed by the visible return of Christ with His believers to reign on earth for one thousand years.
